The UWO Swing Kids are a fun loving group of students from the University of Western Ontario who meet twice a week to Lindy Hop, East Coast and Charleston to the songs of Louis Armstrong, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Michael Buble, Billie Holliday, Duke Ellington and various other big bands!! The club is geared towards people with absolutely no experience in swing dancing. The UWO Swing kids draws students and staff from all faculties of the university. Learning something new combined with the contagious laughter and jumpin beats of swing truly draws together an eclectic group of individuals with a wide range of interests. It is not uncommon to hear their swing music and laughter across campus on swing nights! Not only do the Swing Kids meet twice a week to destress and dance away an evening, but we also attend events in Hamilton and Toronto, as well as host our own! If you want to have a fabulous time, smile until your cheeks hurt and let some swingin tunes move your feet, then come check us out!! New members are always welcome! Remember, there is no such thing as a wrong move, only new ones!!
